Staff Picks: A Spring-Ready Selection

Spring is in the air, the days are getting brighter and the warm balmy days are just around the corner. It is time to refresh our wardrobes with pieces that will help renew our looks. I have shared my picks for this season thinking of staples that will help make every day dressing a breeze and see you through the summer.
The Skirt
My first chosen piece is the Rails black and white spot skirt. It is a perfect skirt to wear at weekends with sneakers or a sandal, or to work dressed with a wedge sandal, or on a date night with a pair of heels. I’ll be wearing mine on cooler days with an oversized sweater and on warmer days paired with a T-shirt tucked in. The fabric is super soft and a good weight so that it falls perfectly. The print is timeless and will stay in style for seasons to come.

The Jeans
Every wardrobe needs a go to pair of jeans. I love a straight/skinny leg and when I unpacked these Mos Mosh Sumner deco jeans I was excited to try them on. I love the softness and the colour of the denim. The frayed ankle will look great with a tanned ankle when summer arrives! Mos Mosh jeans have been a firm Allotment favourite and their jeans do not disappoint; they are beyond comfortable. These will definitely be my daily go- to piece for a relaxed casual look.

The Blouse
My third item I have chosen is this Hartford white blouse. This blouse is again an easy to wear piece. It is versatile like a T-shirt, but it has a softer feminine feel. It would look great together with the Rails skirt or equally with jeans.

The Nail Polish
A simple classic manicure always ‘polishes’ off a look! So I am adding the new Nailberry polishes to my picks. I am so impressed with these polishes, they are so easy to apply, they glide on so well and are streak free. They leave a gel glossy look and last really well. The colours are all beautiful but my chosen one for this season is Cherry Cherie, it is a real fun-orange, the perfect pop of colour for fingers and toes and will be a great red for summer. It will look fab with khaki and denim. Everyone needs a bit of self-pampering right now!

The Sunglasses
Finally, to finish my looks I have included the new range of glasses by the brand A.Kjaerbede. The glasses are such great fun but are timeless styles. Each style comes in various colours. Again, I was very excited when these arrived, in fact I have found it hard to choose just one pair to include so have a browse and choose your favourite!
